Tour Description:

In the rural heart of Transylvania, traditional crafts are still alive — not as tourist demonstrations, but as part of everyday life. This is a small-group photography experience designed to provide close access to authentic craftsmanship.

We visit selected artisans — blacksmiths, potters, carpenters, or traditional painters — during their real working sessions. Each encounter is different, shaped by the rhythm, light, and activity of the day.

Rather than following a fixed itinerary, the tour adapts to the natural flow of work, offering genuine photographic opportunities and time for observation, composition, and documentation. Between these moments, we explore the surrounding villages and landscapes, focusing on story, detail, and human presence.

It is a slow and immersive experience, where photography becomes a way of connecting with living traditions.

Itinerary

• Arrival day in the rural environment & orientation day

• Access to local craftsmen (4–8 sessions throughout the tour)

• Exploration of villages & environmental storytelling

• Flexible buffer time, depending on availability

Difficulty: easy, car/minivan acces

Photo equipment: Please refer to the equipment list in the internal PhotoTOUR section. For companions/non-photographers, a good smartphone is recommended to capture memories.

Accommodation: Hotels an Guest houses with 3* ranks

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner included

Transport: confortable minivan or by car, depending on the size of the group. Airport transfer (Bucharest, Sibiu, Brasov)

Companions: The price for companions is the same as for participants.

Price: From 1720€/person for a minimum group of 4 people.

Depending on the group size, the price per person varies as follows:

Minimum 2 participants: 2620€ / person

Single supplement: 255€ / person

Payment method: Payment is made online by credit or debit card, based on the invoice issued after registration confirmation, or by bank transfer to our account. The tour is paid in full (100%) upon invoice issuance.
