A photographic tour in the Danube Delta is an adrenaline-filled foray into the wonderful world of birds and mammals, but also a calm and soothing one into the world of aquatic fish. We walk slowly "at pace" along the lesser-trodden canals of the Delta, on the lakes, still before dawn to catch the "perfect photographed" pelicans or swans and sit and admire the sunset from a field of water lilies. All this makes up the wonderful world of the Delta, a biosphere reserve, a place blessed by nature with a diversity unique in Europe.
Tour Description
A remote corner of nature, far from civilization, the Danube Delta is a paradise for migratory birds. Every year, dozens of rare species stop on this blessed stretch of land to nest and raise their young. More than 1,800 plant species and no fewer than 3,500 animal species can be found throughout the Delta, forming 30 different types of ecosystems. This is the destination of our PhotoTOUR — a remarkable territory where nature reveals itself in all its exuberance.
A journey aboard motorboats offers us the perfect opportunity to encounter the Delta’s birdlife and photograph fishermen casting their nets in the soft light of sunrise.
This photo tour is designed to explore less-visited areas, far from the heavily trafficked canals, where we will truly discover the wildlife of the Delta. Accompanied by our guide, we will gently navigate the waterways in search of beautiful landscapes and wild fauna. Submerged forests, wildlife, spectacular sunrises, and dramatic sunsets will become the subjects of our photographs. And to complete the experience, traditional fish-based meals will certainly not be missing. Sunset will find us ready to capture the ever-changing colors reflected on the water’s surface, occasionally disturbed by the silhouette of a passing boat.
