Who can participate?
This workshop is addressed to persons who have as a hobby the photographic art, no matter if the knowledge in this field is minimum or elaborate.
The structure of the workshop
The workshop is structured both on a theoretical dimension, supported by a course, as well as on a practical dimension (photo sessions in nature and processing the photos obtained in these photo tours.
Mihai Moiceanu will be accompanied by two photo assistents: Emilian Chirila (Bebe) si Marius Tache (Sica). They will help every participant to process and analyze the photos on the computer in accordance with their level of knowledge.
They will also answer your questions about processing photos in photoshop and if you don’t know your camera very well, they will help you find it’s secrets. You will have the chance, during 4 days, to get useful information both about photocomposition and photo journalism as well as about processing and analyzing the photos on the computer.
Also during the workshop you will be able to watch a photography projection presented by Mihai Moiceanu, the one who will be your host and will share with you the secrets of making a good photography.
The number of the accepted candidates
The workshop is organized in the Moeciu-Bran area, in the space between Piatra Craiului and Bucegi. For a good development of the workshop, the number of participants is of 15 in every group. On the site you will daily find brought up-to-date the number of seats which were not booked.
The participants have the posibility to come with their family or friends. The price for a companion is 40 euro/day - double room and 50 euro /day - single room.

Sunday: processing the photos and feedback, contest.

 Equipment |
The list of the photo equipment:
The digital camera which can be compact, bridge or DSLR., stocking environments (memory cards), spare accumulators, tripod, accessories, photo bag (if you wear it in the knapsack) or photo knapsack.
The list of the mountain equipment:
The concept of equipping on the mountain is of protection to external factors, thermic insulation, transfer of humidity from the inside to the outside.
In winter: Mountain boots for winter (moisture and cold proof), snow fences, warm and impermeable pants (they may be sky pants), warm clothes, polartec jacket, wind jacket with hood, cap, gloves, clean linen in the knapsack (T-shirt +jacket), sunglasses, trekking sticks, padded coat (optionally). In winter, for keeping an optimum thermic comfort, it is recommended the multi-layer equipment. It is preferred to have more thin clothes instead of a single thick jacket.

The technical support for the workshop is composed of 7 systems configured for the work with image editing programs, TFT monitors of 17?, readers of universal cards, DVD-RW. The systems are connected to the network, to this being connected another 9 systems (laptops) belonging to the participants. The seminars are presented on a video projection with a Toshiba DLP - contrast 2000:1 performing system.
The participants to the workshop benefit of a written support for seminars as well as of the free archive, on DVD, of the photos realized during the 4 days.
| Accomodation |
The accommodation is provided in a boarding house in Brasov County, Magura village, access on a forest road approximately 30 min. from Zarnesti.
The boarding house offers accommodation in single or double rooms. Each room has its own bathroom.

Meeting the participants: Thursday, 11st March 2010
-for those who travel by train: 15.00 o’clock - Brasov, the headquarters of the company
-for those who travel by personal car: 15.00 o’clock- Brasov, the headquarters of the company or 16.30 - Zarnesti, the parking near the round about, near Banc Post.

From the station one can arrive to the headquarters of the company with the trolley bus number 3 (till the end of the line).
Laptop
The participants who have a laptop are asked to bring it. This will facilitate the work during the seminars of processing the photos.
| Transport |
Brasov-Magura Transport
For the participants who will not come by personal car, the travel from Brasov to Magura will be made with microbuses put on the disposal by the boarding house. Also in the photo route from Saturday the same microbuses will be used. The price of one travel is about 10 lei. The price will vary on the number the participants who will go by bus.
| The payment |
The price
is calculated depending on your accommodation option:
180 euros/ person - double room
200 euros/ person - single room
In the price are included the following: seminar, course support, accommodation, meal (consistent breakfast and dinner) and is not included the transport.
The payment can be made only in EURO by transfer in our account open at ING Bank Bucharest.

For the registration to be considered valid you must pay an advance of minimum 50% from the total value of the workshop with at least one week before its opening. The order of the registrations is given by the date of the advance of the payment. The second part of the payment will be made with 5 days before the opening of the workshop.

You will receive an e-mail which will confirm the successful registration at one of our workshops.
| Terms and conditions |
SC GO foto SRL engages to carry out, during the photography workshops, photographic services of quality to the participants, named further on beneficiaries. All the services offered are subject to some dispositions which can be found in the service agreement which will be concluded between the performer ( SC Camera mm SRL) and the beneficiary.
The accepting of these conditions is made implicitly by the Beneficiary once with completing the registration form and the payment of the advance of 50%.
The registration of the participants
The completing of the registration form will be made after previous checking of the available seats. These are daily brought up-to-date and posted on the site next to every workshop. All the information provided by the participants at workshop is confidential and will not be used in other purposes than those related to the activities of SC Camera mm SRL. The information will not by any means be alienated to some third parties.
After completing the form you will receive a notification by which you are confirmed that you are in our accounts. The registration is considered as being performed only in the moment you will pay the advance of 50% and you will send us a copy of the payment document by e-mail at: office@cameramm.ro or by fax: 0368-401968.
Terms of payment
The advance of 50% will be paid with at least 4 weeks before the opening of the workshop.
The second part of the payment will be made with 14 days before the opening of the workshop.
The participants who do not have a mean of transport between Magura and Brasov will pay the sum of 10 lei/the ride on the spot. This sum can vary on the number of participants who will go by microbus.
Canceling/reprogramming the participation
If you are not able to participate at the workshop a quantum of 50% from the total value will be kept for covering the common expenses. Please let us know with at least 7 days before if you are not able to participate. It is possible the reprogramming of the participation to another workshop in the limit of the available seats, but only announcing with 7 days before.
Means of transport Magura-Brasov
If you completed the form that you own a means of transport between Brasov-Magura and afterwards, from different reasons, you want to travel by microbus, please let us know this with at least 7 days before the opening of the workshop.
| Contest |
During the workshop there will take place a photography contest organized by two sections: the “photography from home” section and the “photography from the workshop” section. The jury will be made up of the participants. The winners of each section will receive an award consisting of an “Eyelid of the Carpathians” multimedia CD, author Mihai Moiceanu, and will have the chance to see their photography exposed on our site www.cameramm.ro. All the participants will also have the possibility to own an on-line gallery of minimum 10 photos made at the workshop, which will be hosted in our workshop section.
