Who can participate?
This workshop is addressed to everybody who love photography, no matter if the knowledge in this field is minimum or elaborate.
The structure of the workshop
The workshop is structured both on a theoretical dimension, supported by a course, as well as on a practical dimension (photo sessions in nature and processing the photos obtained in these photo tours.
The workshop is leaded by Mihai Moiceanu, one of the most renowned outdoor romanian photographer. He will be accompanied by two assistents: Emilian Chirila (Bebe) si Marius Tache (Sica). They will help every participant to edit and analyze the photos on the computer in accordance with their level of knowledge.
You will have the chance, during 4 days, to get useful information both about composition, landscape, outdoor portrait as well as about processing and analyzing the photos on the computer.
Also during the workshop you will be able to watch a multimedia projection presented by Mihai Moiceanu, the one who will be your host and will share with you the secrets of making a good photography.
The number of the accepted candidates
The workshop is organized in the Moeciu-Bran area, in the space between Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains. For a good development of the workshop, the number of participants is limited to 15 in every group. On the site you will find brought up-to-date the number of unbooked places
The participants have also the posibility to come with their family or friends. The price for a companion is 40 euro/day - double room and 50 euro /day - single room.
Informative schedule
Thursday: seminar of composition
Friday: photo session
Saturday: photo session at sunrise, seminar processing techniques of the digital images, photo session at sunset
Sunday: processing the photos and feedback, contest.
The schedule will take into account about the weather so it can be changed acording to forecast.

 Equipment |
The list of the photo equipment:
The digital camera which can be compact, bridge or DSLR., memory cards, HDD, spare accumulators, tripod, accessories (filters, flash, etc), photo bag (it can be fit into the backpack) or photo backpack.
The list of the mountain equipment:
The concept of equipping on the mountain is of protection to external factors, thermic insulation, transfer of humidity from the inside to the outside.
In summer: Light mountain boots – moisture proof, long and shorts pants, T-shirt, polartec jacket or similar materials (which let the body breathe), wind jacket (from goretex or windstopper material), hat or cap against sun, rain jacket or pelerine (resistant to two, three hours of rain, it may be wind and rain jacket of goretex material), sunglasses, trekking sticks, (telescopic sky sticks), clean linen (T-shirt) if it rains, knapsack, a bottle of water (min. 1 liter), a small kit of medicine (optionally), and the box with food.
In winter: Mountain boots for winter (moisture and cold proof), snow garmets, warm and impermeable pants (they may be sky pants), warm clothes, polartec jacket, wind jacket with hood, cap, gloves, spare linen in the backpack (T-shirt +jacket), sunglasses, trekking poles, padded coat (optionally), a bottle of water (min. 1 liter), a small kit of medicine (optionally), and the box with food. A headlamp is usefull for early morning sunrise or in the evening for going back in the camp.
In winter, for keeping an optimum thermic comfort, it is recommended the multi-layer equipment. It is preferred to have more thin clothes instead of a single thick jacket.
| Support |
The logistic support for the workshop is composed of 7 PC systems configured for the work with image editing programs, TFT monitors of 17", universal card readers, DVD-RW. The systems are interconnected into a network, and is also avalaible a WIFI network connection for laptops. The seminars are presented on a video projection with a Toshiba DLP - contrast 2000:1 performing system.
The participants to the workshop benefit of a written support for seminars as well as of the free archive, on DVD, of the photos made during the 4 days.
Laptop
The participants who have a laptop are asked to bring it. This will facilitate the work during the seminars.
| Accomodation |
The accommodation is provided in a boarding house in Brasov County, Magura village, access on a forest road approximately 30 min. from Zarnesti.
The boarding house offers accommodation in single or double rooms. Each room has its own bathroom.

| The payment |
The price
is calculated depending on your accommodation option:
195 euros/ person - double room
220 euros/ person - single room
In the price are included the following: seminar, course support, accommodation, meal (consistent breakfast and dinner) and is not included the transport.
The payment can be made only in EURO by transfer in our account open at ING Bank Bucharest.

For the registration to be considered valid you must pay an advance of minimum 50% from the total value of the workshop with at least 4 weeks before its opening. The order of the registrations is given by the date of the advance of the payment. The second part of the payment will be made with 14 days before the opening of the workshop.

You will receive an e-mail which will confirm the successful registration at one of our workshops.
| Terms and conditions |
SC GOfoto SRL will provide, during the phototours/workshops, quality photographic services for all the participants. All services, terms and conditions are subject to a contract between GOfoto and participant and are found bellow.
By filling in the enrolment form and payment the deposit specified at each phototour/workshop the participants are accepting these conditions.
The registration of the participants
The filling in of the enrolment form will be made after the preliminary verification of the available seats. These are daily brought up-to-date and posted on the site on the right of each photo tour. All the information supplied by the participants at the workshop are confidential and will not be used in other purposes than the ones related to the activities of SC GOfoto SRL. The information will not be alienated to third parties.
After filling in the form you will receive a notification by which you will be confirmed that you are in our evidence. The enrolment is considered to be completed only when you will pay the deposit and you will send us a copy of the document for payment by email at: office@cameramm.ro or fax: 0368-401968.
Terms of payment
The advance of 50% will be paid with at least 4 weeks before the opening of the workshop.
The second part of the payment will be made with 14 days before the opening of the workshop.
Canceling/reprogramming the participation
If you are not able to participate at the workshop a quantum of 50% from the total value will be kept for covering the common expenses. Please let us know with at least 21 days before if you are not able to participate. It is possible the reprogramming of the participation to another workshop in the limit of the available places, but only announcing with 21 days before. No refunds will be made if you do not take part at the phototour/workshop or the cancellation is made within the last 21 days. No partial refunds are made for unused portions or services of a wokshop/phototour for any reason whatsoever. Workshop/phototour are sold as a package only.
Means of transport Magura-Brasov
If you completed the form that you own a means of transport between Brasov-Magura and afterwards, from different reasons, you want to travel by microbus, please let us know this with at least 14 days before the opening of the workshop.
| Contest |
During the workshop there will take place a photography contest organized by two sections: the "photography from home" section and the "photography from the workshop" section. The jury will be made up of the participants. The winners of each section will receive an award consisting of a multimedia CD/DVD, author Mihai Moiceanu, and will have the chance to see their photography exposed on our site www.phototour.ro. All the participants will also have the possibility to own an on-line gallery of minimum 10 photos made at the workshop, which will be hosted in our workshop section.
