Everest. 8848 m. We will travel together to the base camp, we will climb a nearby peak at 5545m altitude and we will wait for the sunset. But until then we will cross Himalaya’s high valleys, we will make a halt in the capital of the sherpas at 3450 m altitude at Namche Bazar, we will visit the most important Buddhist monastery outside Tibet, at Thyangboche, and around Kathmandu we will visit the most important historical monuments in the inheritage of UNESCO. A photo expedition for those who wish to see Himalaya at the superlative, to discover the culture, the places and the people and not least to be close to the roof of the world. An expedition led by Mihai Moiceanu.

01 Arriving at Kathmandu and checking-in at the hotel.
02 Kathmandu - acommodation
During the day - Phototour in Kathmandu, Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath.
In the evening - dinner in a nepal restaurant, performance of traditional dances.
03 Intern flight to Lukla (2800 m) than trek to Phakding (2600m).Lodge accommodation

The digital photographic equipment must have besides the main camera a back up one (it may be bridge or a good quality compact). It is a pity to arrive in Nepal and to notice that you cannot take pictures. A portable HDD for saving the digital images is essential and from the kit the other photo accessories must not miss, compulsory to such a tour.
The trekking equipment is specific to the mountain tours in late autumn or in early winter.

Accommodation and meal:
The accommodation will be provided
- in a three-star hotel double or single, in the following cities:
Kathmandu (5 nights), Nagarkot (1 night)
- in the mountain lodge (10 nights).
For the lodge accommodation the personal sleeping bag is mandatory.
Extra charges: For single room accomodation in the hotel in Kathmandu - 210 euro.
Meal
During the expedition the breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided in the trekking tour. For the days spent at Kathmandu and surroundings only the breakfast will be provided.The meal price is around 10 $ in Kathmandu.
| Transport |
The price does not include international transport by airplane. The price of the fly ticket can vary between 800 and 1100 euro.
Anterior prices on route Bucharest Kathmandu: 2007 = 820 euro; 2008 = 975 euro; 2009 = 795 euro.

The prices are calculated according to the size of the group. After 25th July, you will be informed concerning the size of the group and the difference that must be paid.

The order of the registrations is determined by the advance payment date and not by the enrollment date. Please check the number of the available seats before making the pay.

Booking places
The booking of the seat is made by completing the registration form and by paying a deposit of 700 euros.
Early enrollment: up to 15th June 2009
Paying the deposit until 15th June 2009 is considered an early registration and will lead to a discount of 100 euros from the final tax of participation.
The last day for registration: up to 20th July 2009
Flight ticket payment: up to 1st August 2009
The sum representing the price of the plane ticket Bucharest-Katmandu-Bucharest
will be paid until 1st August 2009
The final instalment: up to 15st of August 2009
After 20th June 2009, you will be informed concerning the difference that must be paid, according to the size of the group.
The people that have early enrollment and paid the deposit until 15th June 2009, will benefit of a discount of 100 euros.
In the expedition price are included the followings:
-Accommodation in a three-star hotel (3*) or lodge with common bedroom depending on the location
-transport during the trip (bus and airplane in Nepal)
-the entrances at the itinerary objectives from the route
-breakfast in Kathmandu, Nagarkot and in the trekking tour
-lunch in the trekking tour
-dinner in Nagarkot City and in the trekking tour
-a local guide
-one porter for every participant
-lider and guide in the photo tours: Mihai Moiceanu
In the expedition price are NOT included:
-Airfair with departure from Bucharest
-The transport from the dwelling place until Otopeni airport
-Drinking, the costs with the bar (hotel)
-expenses with meals, excepting the meals that are included in the price
-Other personal expenses during the trip
-The visa for Nepal (50 dollars)
-Kathmandu airport duties (27 dollars)
-medical and accident assurance

Booking
To book a seat at the tour Everest Trek you must complete a registration form and to pay a deposit of 700 euros.
The time limit for paying the advance is: June 15th 2009
The final payment must be made until July 20th 2009
The payment can be made by money order, bank transfer.
For the validation of the registration we need the following documents:
- Copy after your identity card
- Statement on your own responsibility regarding the taking knowledge of the conditions that this photographic tour implies
- An agreement between you and Camera mm, signed in original

The cancelling of the participation can be made only in written by e-mail or fax. The following fees will be retained if the informing is made with:
- Maximum 120 days before leaving: 10% from deposit
- 119 – 61 days before leaving: 50% from the expedition price
- 60 days or less before leaving: 100% from the expedition price
If the final payment is not made on time, we reserve our right to cancel your participation and to retain the fees stipulated above.
Health conditions
By completing the registration form and the payment of the deposit, the participants certify the fact that they do not suffer of any mental disorders or other disabilities which may create a risk for the other participants. We reserve our right to ask for a medical certificate which can prove the good state of health.
Once the registration has been completed, the medical circumstances will be considered exceptions from applying the cancelling politics, only if a relevant medical certificate will be presented that should certify the impossibility to participate. In this case we reserve our right that depending on the cancelling date we should return a certain amount from the expedition cost.

The participants will receive three e-mails before going on the trip:
-Initial information about the tour and the proforma invoice.
-The confirmation of the registration and the agreement
-Final information concerning: the accommodation, the itinerary, the equipment, the list of participants etc.
